About Mental Math

Mental Math is a free educational website that teaches mental arithmetic through a clear, progressive curriculum. We built it for children and early teens, and for the parents and teachers who support them — anywhere in the world where English-language learning resources are helpful.

Our mission

We believe number confidence should not depend on expensive apps or locked content. Mental Math offers original explanations, worked examples, interactive drills, and lightweight games with no account wall.

How the curriculum works

Inspired by Kumon-style scaffolding, each of our 20 stages focuses on one technique at a time. Learners can also explore games and long-form guides such as the mental math pillar.

Who runs the site

Mental Math is published by an independent education-focused editorial team. We create original instructional content, maintain the practice tools, and keep legal pages transparent for families and advertising partners.

Advertising & trust

To keep the site free, we may display interest-based or contextual ads (for example via Google AdSense) after approval. Ads never change lesson answers or curriculum order. Details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
